a. I feel really engaged with what I am learning when I am writing and thinking about the class. Even if I am at work, at certain moment I go trough my “to do” list and I start thinking about my reading and what I will compose to class. It shows I have the engagement because I spend time planning it.
b. When I am reading I feel distant from what I am doing. It is part of the class, but my mind starts to travel and I feel away. Not in a bad way, but drives me a little bit far.
c. I think that having a discussion board or general assembly is very helpful, students and professor can interact which facilitates the learning process.
d. It is still to early to point an action as puzzling or confusing.
e. Reading about American Literature shows the interaction between literature and history. It has surprised me because every time I am more and more interested about knowing what happened in the past and helped to build this present we are living now.
