This class is being a mix of excitement and stress at the same time. I want to feel all engaged and participate more, I want to get extra credits and contribute to help other students, but we have so much to do as assignments already that once I am done with it, I cannot get to do the extra activities because I have other classes to study for. I feel like I am struggling trying to keep up with all the activities for each week. As always I will say I feel most engaged with the class trough the whole week. I cannot stop thinking because I have so much to do to accomplish the assignments and due dates.
These texts are not easy, at least for me. Sometimes I have to go over twice or three times the same text to understand what the author means. Since we have two to three readings a week, it takes a while for me to absorb the information. I really like reading and learning new stuff, it is just a short time for all the information.
In some essays I get confused to write, in my understanding we have to relate the essay with the topic of the week. What I see from other blogs is that the students are writing a narrative, what makes it easier understanding of what is read.
I have other classes so I have to dedicate some time for the other disciplines as well. It is hard to keep everything in order every week. I do not want to be late with any assignment for this class, and I want to really understand, but I do not want to miss any assignment in my other classes either.
I just want to enjoy this time, the information we can have here, interact with other students and learn from their opinions. I hope I can keep up with everything trough the semester. It makes me feel really bad when I think I cannot do it.
