Review and comparison of peers blogs!

Preston’s

"I the same want to be thrown into nature as God intended us, to be away from technology and use our hands to survive."

I agree that living a full life does not necessary mean having all the possessions like houses, cars, or even money. I tend to think that a full life means getting everything out of it and more.  I also agree that when I was happiest, I rarely had anything. I think about when I was a child, and we used to create things to have fun and enjoy life.  We had no sense of knowledge or what money or possessions were then. We just lived to live.  I am very encouraged by this blog because the experiment with nature, I firmly believe that it’s a true test of life. By being around no one and having to find your food, your true character comes out. I would never be dropped off in the woods but if I did, I truly believe that traits or characteristics would come out, that I never knew of.

"I’ve been on earth for over forty years, I can only think of one regret, which is, not going to college right after high school."

I am glad to see that the one regret, one has is not going to school right after high school. There could be more severe regrets in forty years of living. I am glad to see that by not going to school, that didn’t stop one from teaching your kids the right way of life. My grandmother followed the same path, and the one regret she has been not being able to work. She didn’t work her whole life because my grandfather did all the working. To me having regrets is something that we must live with, but at least with your one regret, one was able to go back to school and finally fill that void. I think this also shows your children, young or grown, that one can make changes and succeed when the opportunity is present, to live life without any regrets. Something you have now accomplished.

"Bottom line is we will never truly be equal if we continue to allow all these separate race based organizations.  Let's create more multi cultural groups so we can learn about one another."

I found your blog to make a lot of sense. I do feel as this country progresses, that the language is shifting very heavily towards Spanish and English.  In some places like Miami, Florida, one can not even go into a supermarket and order something without knowing Spanish. The same can be said about a lot of other places with other diverse countries that hold stores or companies here in the United States. Coming from Brazil, there are not many places one can go and not hear Portuguese being spoken. As far as having a decent level job, that term could be expressed differently by everyone. To get a basic job here in the United States; English should be at least at a certain requirement. However, there are exchange programs that let citizens of other countries come to the United States to get a great work and life experience. We must not forget about those people that take our teachings or methods and use those lessons throughout their life.

With all these examples showed I can affirm that one thing I can take away from observing other peers blogs is the ability to take examples of life and intertwine them with other people’s lives as well. I can definitely incorporate that more often on my posts. Another lesson that I learned from reading was keeping an open mind about all subjects. Reading the blogs has taught me that my way of thinking is just another thought trait out of a million different ones and I might not agree with one, but I have to respect their ideas just I want them to respect mine. Finally, I am grateful for the way that reading other peoples blogs have made me feel better about writing in general, not holding anything back, and freely speaking my mind without hesitations which has been already incorporated in my posts.
